Malaysia DE Rantau Nomad Pass: Renewal
What renewing the Malaysia DE Rantau Nomad Pass involves, and where it leads long-term.
Issued for an initial 3-12 months (the exact length depends on what Immigration approves for your specific application), renewable once for an additional 12 months — 24 months total maximum. This is a Professional Visit Pass, not a residency track: it doesn't convert to longer-term status on its own. Apply for renewal roughly 2-3 months before expiry; sources vary slightly on the exact window, so confirm the current specific deadline rather than cut it close.
