Uruguay Temporary Residence (no dedicated nomad visa): Family & Dependents
Bringing a spouse or kids on the Uruguay Temporary Residence (no dedicated nomad visa) — what changes and what to check.
For general legal residency, a spouse (or registered civil partner) and dependent children under 18 can be included alongside the primary applicant, all receiving the same residency status and rights. One real, specific exception: the "stable foreign income" pathway toward the tax holiday specifically does not currently permit dependent inclusions the way the general residency route does — worth knowing if you're pursuing tax residency and family inclusion together.
