Argentina Digital Nomad Visa: Renewal
What renewing the Argentina Digital Nomad Visa involves, and where it leads long-term.
Confirmed directly via Disposición 758/2022: the visa can be extended once for another 180 days (360 days/about a year total), but only if you've spent at least 50% of the initial 180-day period (a minimum of 90 days) physically in Argentina. Renewal requires the same roughly $200 fee, updated income evidence, and an Argentine criminal record certificate from the National Registry of Recidivism. For longer-term plans, the Rentista visa (covered separately) renews up to 3 years and actually opens a path toward permanent residency and citizenship, which this digital nomad category does not.
