Argentina Digital Nomad Visa: Requirements

What you need to qualify for the Argentina Digital Nomad Visa — income, documents, and the fine print that trips people up.

Verified Aug 2026 · Argentina's Disposición 758/2022 and Decreto 366/2025

Argentina launched its Digital Nomad Visa in 2022, allowing remote workers to enter and reside for an extended period without needing a local employer. It's a newer program with less established precedent than Portugal's or Spain's.

The core requirement is proof of remote employment or freelance income from outside Argentina, along with standard documentation — passport, proof of accommodation, and evidence you can support yourself for the visa period. Notably, Argentina's own official guidance (Disposición 758/2022) doesn't set a fixed published minimum income figure the way Portugal or Spain do — applicants demonstrate "regular and stable" foreign income through contracts, invoices, or bank statements instead. In practice, commonly reported figures cluster around $1,500-2,500/month, but that's a practical benchmark based on approval patterns, not a stated legal floor.

Argentina's program has been noted for having a comparatively light paperwork burden relative to some European programs — but given how new it is, confirm current requirements directly rather than relying on early coverage from 2022-2023.
